The Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation invites families, community members, organizations and neighbouring communities to join us for an evening of remembering, learning, sharing and connection.
The evening will include a Reconciliation Walk, cultural sharing, language and storytelling, sweetgrass friendship braiding, traditional arts and crafts, activities for children and families, food and refreshments, and more.
Orange shirts will be available to purchase onsite, and local crafters and artists have been invited to share their handmade items.
Bring your lawn chairs and stay awhile. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a caregiver, and we kindly ask that pets be left at home.
We welcome you to join us.
