- Experiment with Fish Scale Crafting
- Fishing Basics, tying, lures vs. bait, casting, tips etc.
- Fileting and scaling demo
- Fish prep for cooking
- Food – fish samples and other snacks
- Kids prize for home-made fishing rod/set up! Bring something you made to be entered in a draw and try it out while your on shore
- Prizes for heaviest fish, longest fish, smallest fish, etc.
- Good ‘ol fashioned community fun
Cape Croker Park – Rough Camping Pavilion
- Bring your rod and tackle, we will have a few extras for people to use
- Bring your feast bag with plate/cutlery/water bottle
- Bring your lawn chairs, sun hats, sun screen, bug spray if you need
- Children must be with a caregiver – no childcare onsite
- Special invitation to seniors, older adults experienced community anglers – please come and help the younger ones learn!
