Nawash Food Bank

The Food Bank is located at the Community Centre building and is a operated by Chippewas of Nawash/Salvation Army employees and volunteers.  The Food Bank provides food/staples/basics to families and persons of the Chippewas of Nawash community.  The Food Bank team fills requests for emergency foods based on need and family size.  The program is a member of the Ontario Food Bank Association and organizes the Christmas Food Hamper drive for families with greater needs during the holiday season.

The Food Bank provides a healthy selection of food, including;  meat, dairy, grains, canned goods, fresh produce, pet food and some personal hygiene products.
